Blueberries for Sal vs Frog and Toad was so hard. I feel like they're for different ages, so they provide very different things and that makes it so much harder to choose between them. Thankfully, I own both, so I'll never have to choose between them in real life.
On the riddles, I was kicking myself over the medium one. I immediately thought of the right answer, then doubted myself and picked a different, wrong answer. 🫣 I haven't read the Hard book, and it keeps coming up, so I'll have to add it to my list soon.
I think Blueberries for Sal is fun for toddlers and preschoolers. And I have read Frog and Toad with my kids in early elementary. It's great for that age when they're first starting to have friendships that they've chosen for themselves, and it isn't terribly hard to read, so it's good for being something lovely that they can try their hand at when they're still learning.
I know I have read Swallows and Amazons, but only once. We didn't own it growing up.

I know, I found it near impossible to choose between Frog and Toad and Blueberries for Sal. I'm curious, what ages do you think both books are for?
